Time Trials Recap
Good Evening, Stingray Families!
We were incredibly impressed by all of our swimmers’ performances at Time Trials yesterday. There were countless personal bests and many swimmers achieving their first legal swims—an amazing accomplishment after just a week and a half of practice! With such strong early results, we are truly excited to see where this season takes us.
Looking Ahead
Our first A Meet is scheduled for Saturday, June 13th, and we’re excited to be hosting Mantua for the season opener. Here are a few important reminders:
- Meet Participation: Swimmers selected for the A Meet will be notified by Wednesday evening. Please be sure to declare your swimmer’s availability and contact us as soon as possible if they are unable to attend.
- Pep Rally: Our first pep rally will take place on Friday at 6:45 PM, with the theme "Western Out!"—so come dressed in your best cowboy attire! During the pep rally, we’ll also recognize our Swimmers of the Week and present the Spirit Award, so we encourage everyone to attend.
- Meet Timing & Details: Additional details regarding timing and logistics for Saturday’s meet will be shared later this week. Please keep an eye on your email for updates.
Sportsmanship Reminder
As we move into meet season, we ask that you remind your swimmer of the importance of good sportsmanship. Encouragement, support, and respect for others have always been hallmarks of the Hunt Valley team spirit, and we will continue to emphasize these values throughout the season.
Make Up Time Trials
If you sent an email to us about your swimmer making up races they missed at time trials, you will receive more information shortly.
Once again, we were thrilled with what we saw at Time Trials—not only in the pool, but in the energy, enthusiasm, and team spirit that so many of our swimmers demonstrated. It was a fantastic start to what we know will be an incredible season.
See you on deck!
