About the Hunt Valley Swim & Dive Team

The Hunt Valley Swim & Dive Team is part of the Hunt Valley Swim Club (HVSC) in Springfield, VA, located at 7100 Sydenstricker Road. Team membership requires an active Club membership (August-only memberships are not eligible).

HVSC owns the pool and is managed by a volunteer board. The Swim & Dive Teams are run by a committee of team reps, coaches, coordinators, and a treasurer.

While many Club members don’t participate in swim or dive, we ask team families to be mindful of shared space during practices and meets. The team thrives thanks to HVSC’s support.

We compete in the Northern Virginia Swimming League (NVSL). In 2025, both the Swim and Dive Teams are in Division 3. We also participate in the Springfield-Burke Developmental League for weekday swim meets.
