    Weekly Recap

    Hello Stingrays Families,

What an incredible start to the season! Saturday morning’s meet was a huge success—we saw numerous personal bests, impressive time drops from last week’s time trials, several first-time legal swims, and, most excitingly, our first victory over Mantua!

We were so proud, not only of the athletes' performance in the water, but also of the team spirit shown on deck. The support from swimmers cheering behind the lanes, the high-fives, and sportsmanship displayed throughout the meet truly set the tone for the season ahead. This was a fantastic official season opener, and we can’t wait to see the energy continue to build in the coming weeks.

    Weekly Awards

On Friday night we recognized many swimmers across all age groups for our Swimmer of the Week and Spirit awards. Please find their names attached in the document below. Keep up the good work Stingrays!

    Monday Night B-Meet – June 16

Our first B-meet is tomorrow evening away at Rolling Forest. The weather is beginning to look less than favorable, so please come prepared with extra towels and warm, dry clothing for use between events. Additional details, including arrival and warm-up times, will be sent out soon.

    Coaches’ Corner – Begins Tomorrow!

We’re excited to launch our first Coaches’ Corner tomorrow! After the 13–18 age group practice concludes at 11:00 AM, both of us will be available on deck until 12:00 PM to answer questions, discuss swimmer progress, or go over the week ahead.

If you’re unable to attend tomorrow, we’ll offer another opportunity this Friday before the pep rally.

Friday Pep Rally – Hawaiian Theme

This week’s pep rally theme is Hawaiian! Join us at 6:45pm for a fun activity and recognition of our Swimmer of the Week and Spirit Award recipients. Swimmers are encouraged to wear Hawaiian-themed gear, and we’ll continue the theme into Saturday’s A-meet.

Saturday A-Meet @ Little Hunting Park

This Saturday, we head to Little Hunting Park for our first away A-meet. In keeping with tradition, the team will gather at Hunt Valley beforehand to decorate cars and caravan together to the meet. More details, including arrival times, will be provided later in the week.

We are so proud of how our athletes represented the team this weekend and look forward to keeping the momentum going tomorrow night and beyond. Thank you for your continued support and we’ll see you on deck!

    Warmly,

    Maia & JP
