Hello Stingrays,

What a weekend! While we didn’t finish with a win at Saturday’s meet against Fair Oaks, we witnessed some truly remarkable swims, with numerous time drops and outstanding individual performances. What we didn’t share beforehand: Fair Oaks is an extremely competitive team — and we gave them a serious run for their money! The meet came down to the wire, and the energy from our swimmers was simply electric. We’re incredibly proud of everyone’s effort and can’t wait to see that same spirit carry into our next meet on Monday.

Here's what’s coming up this week:

Monday, June 30th – B Meet vs. Daventry @ Hunt Valley

• Warm-ups begin at 5:35 PM (meet starts at 6:30 PM)
• Bring your enthusiasm and team spirit — let’s make some noise!

Wednesday, July 2nd – Divisional Relay Carnival

• Time for one of the most exciting events of the season!
• Please keep an eye on your email — there’s a quick turnaround from Monday’s meet, and we’ll be sending out details about a pre-meet relay practice soon.

Thursday, July 3rd – Senior Pep Rally

• Theme: Red / White / Blue
• Come ready to celebrate our seniors with lots of cheering and spirit!

Friday, July 4th – No Practice

• Enjoy your Independence Day!
• Stay hydrated and rested ahead of Saturday’s meet.

Saturday, July 5th – Home A-Meet vs. Little Rocky Run (Senior Meet)

• This is a special one — we’ll be honoring our incredible seniors during a mid-meet ceremony.
• Stick around to celebrate their dedication and contributions to the team.
• Lunch in the pavilion and Kona Ice will be available after the meet!

Reminder: We ask that all swimmers stay for the full meet to support their teammates and our seniors — your cheers make a big difference!

Additional note: Hunt Valley is in a competitive division, and while we always are looking for victories, we always prioritize sportsmanship and fostering a love for competing. We haven't had a problem with how our team has handled a loss (or a win) and we wanted to say how impressed we are with our swimmers' attitudes thus far. Keep it up Stingrays!
