HV Hosting Divisionals this Saturday!!
Good morning parents!
What Are NVSL Divisionals?
Divisionals mark the final official NVSL meet of the season. It is a time-final championship meet where each team in our division enters 2 swimmers per individual event, and has alternates available. Participation is based on season-best times on ladder, discussions with swimmers and final coach decisions.
This meet is a great opportunity for our athletes to race against the best in our division and wrap up their season on a high note!
Parents of Divisional Athletes: Please see Swimtopia to see the events your athlete is signed up for. The entries will be firm after today's division meeting at 7pm. The coaches will send another email to you directly for more information.
Meet Format & Start Time
The meet will begin Saturday, July 19th at our pool 8:30 AM, and will run in two sessions:
- Session 1: Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke
- Session 2: Butterfly, Individual Medley (IM)
Each stroke has a “No Earlier Than” start time, so swimmers only need to arrive in time for their event-specific warm-ups:

Warm-Up Assignments
Warm-up times are assigned based on proximity to the host pool for first session:

Please have your swimmer on deck and ready for their team’s designated warm-up slot.

Please note: the vendor will also be onsite at the event with merchandise available for purchase. However, those who wait to buy in person should expect a 15–20 minute wait line — online ordering will be available until August 19!

If you’re volunteering, please note the Check-In Deadlines for your role. Many roles are split into first-half and second-half shifts:

A Few Reminders:
- Bring labeled water bottles, towels, sunscreen, and chairs.
- Check SwimTopia for updates on entries, heat sheets, or team area setup.
- Alternates should attend and be prepared to swim in case of a scratch.
- If your swimmer can no longer attend, please notify us immediately so we can make necessary substitutions.
- Bid-in swimmers - Our division will have a meeting today to bid in alternates for lanes that other teams cannot fill. Stay tuned for more opportunities for your swimmers.
