Good evening Stingray Families,
Please join us in congratulating our 2026 Hunt Valley Divisional Relay swimmers, who swam their hearts out on Wednesday afternoon at Donaldson Run!
🥈 Hunt Valley finished 2nd overall, just 8 points behind Mantua, in an incredibly competitive Division 3 Relay Carnival.
We are incredibly proud of each of these swimmers for their hard work, teamwork, determination, and outstanding sportsmanship. Every relay position was earned through dedication throughout the season, and they represented Hunt Valley with pride.
Today at 8PM we found out from NVSL that 30 Hunt Valley Stingrays earned the opportunity to compete at All Star Relays on 7/15 - what an outstanding accomplishment!
🌟 For Our New Families – What Are All-Star Relays?
Many of our newer families have asked what comes next after Divisional Relays.
All-Star Relays (ASR) is one of the most prestigious relay events in the NVSL season.
Following Wednesday's Divisional Relay Carnival, the results from all 18 NVSL divisions (102 teams total) are combined. The 18 fastest relay teams in each relay event, along with 2 Alternate (ALT) relay teams, are selected to compete at the NVSL All-Star Relay Championships.
Simply qualifying for Divisional Relays is a tremendous achievement. Being selected for All-Star Relays means your relay is among the very fastest in the entire league.
We wish the very best of luck to any Hunt Valley relay teams selected for All-Star Relays. We can't wait to cheer you on as you represent the Stingrays one more time this season!
