Final Days of the Regular Swim Season!
Good afternoon, Stingray Families!
Our All-Star Relay swimmers did an incredible job this morning and represented Hunt Valley with pride! We are so proud of their hard work, teamwork, and outstanding performances.
A huge thank-you to all the volunteers who stepped up to help with timing, Clerk of Course, setup and breakdown, bringing water coolers, and keeping our swimmers organized and ready to race. Your support helped make the morning run smoothly and allowed our swimmers to focus on doing their best.
It is hard to believe, but we are down to the final few days of our regular swim season! We still have several fun activities planned as we celebrate an incredible summer together.
🌈 Friday, July 17 — Extended Neon Pep Rally
Because last week’s activities were cut short by the weather, we will begin our extended pep rally at 5:45 PM so we have plenty of time to present all of our Paper Plate Awards.
Please bring chairs for your family. We will set up the team canopies so parents can sit, watch, and celebrate as each swimmer receives an award recognizing what they were best known for this season. Bring your dinner at the pool or enjoy the food truck our HVSC Social Chairs were able to book for our pool!
Our theme is NEON, so come dressed in your brightest colors!
We plan to finish around 7:30 PM with a cannonball contest.
💦 Monday, July 20 — Final Regular-Season Practice and Tie-Dye Celebration
Monday will be our final regular-season practice. Practices will focus on Individual Medley skills as Hunt Valley prepares to host our first IM Carnival that evening.
At the end of each age group’s practice, swimmers will participate in a tie-dye activity with the coaches!
Please send your swimmer with one white item to decorate, such as:
- A T-shirt or tank top
- Socks
- A bandana
Place the item in a labeled Ziploc bag with your swimmer’s first and last name.
📸 End-of-Season Slideshow Pictures
We are collecting pictures for our end-of-season slideshow! Please upload your favorite photos from practices, meets, pep rallies, social events, and other Stingray memories. When selecting pictures, please help us represent as many swimmers and age groups as possible, if you have issues with access please reply to this email. Without your pictures we will have no slideshow!

🛝 Team Tuesday Waterpark RSVP
The deadline to RSVP for our Team Tuesday Waterpark event is Friday, July 17 at 11:00 AM.
Date: Tuesday, July 21 - Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM - Location: Great Waves Waterpark, Alexandria - Cost: $14.00 per swimmer

Didn’t RSVP? You can still join us! Please pay the admission fee directly at the waterpark when you arrive.
🏊 Postseason Divisional Practices
Coaches have already spoken with swimmers who are being considered for the Divisional Championship Meet.
Divisionals is not a dual meet and is not scored like our regular Saturday meets. It is an individual championship meet featuring swimmers from all six teams in our division.
July 21–23
- 10 & Under: 8:00–9:00 AM
- 11 & Over: 9:00–10:00 AM
Friday, July 24 — Adjusted Times for the Lollipop Meet
- 10 & Under: 7:00–8:00 AM
- 11 & Over: 10:00–11:00 AM
